Find out and, if so, cast your ballot as soon as you’re able to. The more people vote early, the better chance we have of keeping polling places and systems for mail-in voting from being overwhelmed in November.

Know your state’s rules about mail-in voting.
Find out your state’s rules regarding voting by mail. If you are planning on voting by mail, request your ballot today. With uncertainty facing the United States Postal Service, it’s important to know that you can drop off your mail-in ballot at designated drop-boxes. Find out where your closest drop-off location is.
If your requested ballot has not come in the mail, contact your local election office.
Sign up to be a poll worker.
Older Americans make up the majority of poll workers across the country. This year, many are rightfully concerned about their health as the country continues to deal with COVID-19. If you’re young and healthy and want to get involved, consider signing up to be an election worker.
